    If you've got young children, you've probably already cut the loops off your blind cords or tied them up high. There's a better answer: don't have cords in the first place.

    The hazard parents underestimate

    Looped blind cords remain a leading cause of preventable home accidents involving small children. Even 'cordless' blinds often have internal lift cords. Shutters have neither.

    How shutters work

    Louvres tilt by hand. Panels swing open. That's it. Nothing to pull, nothing to dangle, nothing within reach of a curious toddler.
